Músico bebeu na fonte de bandas contemporâneas

Scott Weiland resolveu revisitar rocks de várias bandas recentes. "A Compilation of Scott Weiland Cover Songs" traz 12 versões de músicas de grupos como Nirvana ("Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle") e The Smiths ("Reel Around The Fountain").

O disco ficará disponível apenas online e ainda conta com covers de New York Dolls, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, The Flaming Lips e Depeche Mode.

Ex-vocalista do Velvet Revolver e frontman do Stone Temple Pilots, Weiland estaria trabalhando agora no seu terceiro disco solo. Neste ano, o músico lançou sua autobiografia, "Not Dead & Not For Sale".
